Delivery of Mail to addresses in St. Kitts and Nevis is effected through the following means:-
1. Post Office Boxes
Post Office Boxes are installed at the General Post Office, Sub and Branch Post offices and are available for rent on completion of the application form and office formalities. The use of Post Office Box guarantee customer’s security, privacy and convenience of mail collection.
2. Pick Up Service
The pick up service is one that allows customers who lives in hilly, difficult and inaccessible terrains, or areas not served by a Postman to pick up their mail from the Post Office during working hours.

- Peninsular
- Bird Rock and Harbour View
Door-to-Door Delivery
It entails mail delivery by Postmen on a house-to-house basis. The effectiveness of this service depends to a large extention, correcting addressing, the use of household receptacles by householders, and the Postman knowledge of the addresses and addressees.
Postman and Postwoman
Deals with the door-to-door sorting of mail according to their “walk” covering several hundred addresses. Deliveries are made on foot, bicycle, in a car, or motorbuses, Monday to Friday. Delivery work is outdoors at all times of the year and all weathers. Lifting and carrying bags up to a maximum load of 17 kg may be required.
